Rules and Expectations
Let's begin this journey with responses to these rules. Do you think these rules are worthwhile in our forum? Why or why not? Would you change or add anything? If so, what and why?
- RESPECT - Above all else, we must respect ourselves, each other, and even those not in our immediate surroundings (e.g. internet, other countries, etc.)
- NO PROFANITY - There is absolutely no cursing, name calling, or any derogatory insults. This forum is intended to be a place where we can share our ideas.
- NO INAPPROPRIATE CONTENT - This means you can not talk about subjects or post material that are inappropriate in age and maturity.
- PARTICIPATE - Aside from the above issues that harm our education, we should encourage each other to be a part of the learning process. All students are expected to comment and post feedback on others' works.
- EXPLORE - It is encouraged that users explore ideas as they participate. Build on each others thoughts. Try and help each other answer questions and find answers.
- WHEN IN DOUBT, ASK! - If you are unsure about your work, ask Mr. Mai. But, you should test your subject against the above rules first:
- Are you being respectful? Objective?
- Are you clean and clear from profane language?
- Is your content appropriate to the topic you are responding to or working with?
- Are you participating to help someone or others in research and discovery?
